On August 2, an event marking the 100-day countdown to the opening of China’s 15th National Games was held in South China's Shenzhen.
China's 15th National Games, 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities, and 9th National Special Olympics Games, co-hosted by Guangdong Province, Hong Kong SAR, and Macao SAR, will be held from November 9 to 21 and from December 8 to 15 this year respectively.
Chen Zuowei, head of the power grid team of the power supply support office for the 15th National Games, shared how stable, green, and smart power supply will be ensured in the Games. In extreme scenarios, the backup power system is capable of achieving a millisecond-level switch. This enhances the eco-friendliness and cost-effectiveness of the Games while improving the reliability of the power grid. Technology lays a solid foundation for athletes to compete and for spectators to fully enjoy the event.
